A fan letter addressed simply to: "The World's Greatest Drummer" arrived at Gene Krupa's house... He saw it and said "Oh, this is for Art Blakey" so he forwarded it - Art saw the letter and said "Oh, this is for Elvin Jones" so he forwarded it... Elvin Jones saw the letter and said "Oh, this is for Buddy Rich" so he forwarded it.. Buddy Rich got the letter and immediately opened it and read "Dear Ringo..."
