Meet Penny, newest member of our family and representative of our new country life in Whatcom County. We miss you, our loyal and lovely customers, friends and neighbors, and thank you from our hearts for nearly 4 incredible years of support as we opened and operated The Feed Store and The Saloon. Alas, the struggle of retail life was not for us, and we needed to focus on our family, our health, and new chapters in our lives. We hope you continue to support The Saloon under the fabulous new owners Kim & Sophia. It isn’t easy making these small businesses work without more support from the neighborhood, as evidenced by the now 4-5 businesses in that Mount Baker building that have had to close in just the last few years. The rent is high and the neighborhood is still very quiet. With this final post, we will soon be disabling social media for The Feed Store and we just wanted to thank you again and wish you all well.... ❤️Kristin & Denise
