Orcas do not like plastic pollution!
Puget Soundkeeper works in communities by cleaning up plastic and litter, and in the policy arena by advocating for long term solutions, so that we and the orcas can enjoy our shared waters for generations to come.

What do tires have to do with orca protection?
Toxic chemicals from tires wash straight into our shared waters every time it rains! These chemicals have harmful effects on salmon, and are devastating to coho salmon in particular.
Protecting orca also means protecting their food source.
Puget Soundkeeper is dedicated to getting toxic 6PPD out of our environment ASAP. Visit Puget Soundkeeper's 6PPD resource page at: https://pugetsoundkeeper.org/current-priorities/6ppd-quinone/
