WA State Bootblack 2023

Have you seen this before?! I am astounded and slightly scared by this amount of polish. I’m not sure you could get through it before it dried out but dayum! I suppose you could add solvent or break it down into smaller tins. Can’t beat the price though. $18.

I am full of gratitude for all of the support for the PNW Bootblacks during last nights Shine Off. Having all of you there to support us felt so so good. A huge shout out to our emcee Danny Boehnke, our distractors Jae and Leda Hicks, our boots in the chair Telpur Higgins (Besh! my Sir and heart) and Squirtt Little(Washington State MX 2023 and my fabulous sash spouse), our cashieers Cedar Ray Fritsinger and Jesse, our hosts CC Seattles (Thomas Cat you're amazing), and our new King Oregon State Bootblack 2023 Colin Ashante! Thank you Daddy John F Limitone for making that amazing crown! Of coarse, none of this would be possible without you, our supportive (and slightly sadistic) community. You turned out and we raised $415 dollars for our travel funds so we can take our shows on the road!
I'd like to honor my mentor Cinder Welpe (Washington State Bootblack 2019-2021) for the concept and idea behind this type of shine off, what a hit! Your brilliance and luster knows no bounds. I love you and all you have endowed me with on this journey. I carry you with me in everything I do. Thank you for always being the butter to my crab legs.
