Pratidhwani and Seattle Public Theater are inviting self-tape auditions for their upcoming production of नेहा & Neel (Neha & Neel) by Ankita Raturi, Directed by Agastya Kohli.

Rehearsals will begin in July/Aug 2026, and performances run Oct 16 - Nov 8th, at Seattle Public Theater.

Character Break Down:

We’re inviting self-tapes for the following roles:

NEHA – Single mom, mid-forties to mid-fifties, Indian, Hindi speaking immigrant. On a trip with her son to visit college campuses in the Washington DC area. The actor playing this character needs to be able to speak Hindi (convincingly) fluently.

NEEL – Neha's son, seventeen, Indian-American/Sri Lankan-American. Born and raised in California. Travels internationally often to visit his father.

ARNAV and AVATARS - Plays every other character and voice in the play, including Arnav (Neel’s 20 y/o Indian cousin, a doctor on the plane, a motel proprietor, cab driver, nani’s voice, and many more. We are looking for a male presenting, fluent Hindi speaking actor of south Asian descent for this role.

Actors will be paid a $1000 stipend.
