It’s an exciting time to have access to the internet – (mostly) unfettered access to the wide, exponentially growing world of generative AI has rapidly changed the landscape of what is possible in industries ranging from healthcare to social impact to sustainability. Significant advances in large language models paired with a radical shift in accessibility has enabled individuals everywhere to unleash their creativity and explore generative AI’s potential with little to zero knowledge of the technology driving it.

Our work at Intentional Futures spans a similar gamut of industry, and in most client engagements AI is bubbling to the forefront of our partners’ minds.

Concurrent to client work and general knowledge sharing internally, the Digital Strategy & Innovation team recently concluded an organization-wide experiment to document how iFsters are using AI and for what purposes. At Intentional Futures, our small size has allowed us to employ practices in our hiring and onboarding that have set us apart, evidenced by positive feedback from new iFsters.

We often hear that the hiring process was a large reason why new employees choose to join the company, and much of that can be attributed to the philosophy of iF’s long-standing Head of People + Culture, Andy Park-Buffelen. With the better part of a decade spent at iF, Andy is one of the most tenured iFsters. Most employees at the company were hired under his leadership, and the impact his contributions have made are tangible and appreciated within the organization.

Intentional Futures is for a Digital Strategy & Innovation Director-- help us spread the word!

The Director of the Digital Strategy & Innovation (DS&I) practice will guide a team of strategists and technologists through iF engagements. DS&I project teams deliver offerings from three categories: Learning & Discovery, Strategy Development, and Design & Envisioning. The Director will have the opportunity to both lead this work and support teams to hone their craft and improve methodologies to deliver exceptional results.
