Reverend Munther Isaac delivered the Christmas sermon, “Christ in the Rubble: A Liturgy of Lament,” at the landmark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, which has received international attention for a nativity scene depicting baby Jesus in a keffiyeh, surrounded by rubble.
