this past sunday marked my 43rd circle around the sun 🌞 ♐️
I spent the day being showered with so much love by my amazing child who made and decorated a cake and cupcakes for me and made sure I could rest and do whatever I wanted. she’s the sweetest - I am so grateful for her. I love you, joan!)
every year for the last four years, i’ve gotten a birthday reading from April at - (highly recommend!) it’s been an amazing touch point each year and check in with my spiritual team and higher self. this round, she told me she saw my guides applauding me right at the start for all the work that i’ve done in myself and in my life this year… but also that she saw ME applauding MYSELF… it was an indication that I have been speaking much kinder to myself and giving myself recognition and honestly - that felt like big growth for me. it’s hard to not be hard on yourself - but I DID do a lot of work this year to recalibrate myself and life as an artist, release and shift unhelpful patterns and to focus on and prioritize the things that are most important. and that has made all the difference and deserves to be celebrated.
I also bought myself an electric guitar - the one that i’ve wanted for years - as a reward. plus a gary pedal cause ikyk.
