Social media tries to convince us that there’s something wrong with the way we look, act, and dress.
And it’s not because there’s something actually wrong with you. It’s because convincing us that we’re lacking something is great for consumerism. 😞 Society is stuck in a routine of spending more and buying more, thinking it will make us feel good. But feeling good only lasts for a short while until we think we need to buy the next thing.
You’re enough just as you are! 🥳In Pjs or full glam, using the latest skincare products or a good ol’ fashion drugstore moisturizer, shopping at the “it” stores or at the department store; you are always enough.✨

When it comes to planning products and launches, how much do you let your personality, passions, and interests shape the process?
👉 At my business Lily Lou’s Aromas, I thing it should be a lot.
Why? Because people like to feel like they're part of something, they want to relate and resonate with a product and brand. 🎉 The more personable, the more they get invested.
Professionality still matters of course. But sterile and distant doesn't sell!
For example, here's our BEST SELLER Cereal Killer candle. 😍 Is it kinda a crazy idea? Maybe... But its also a really cool one and people love it every year.
It appeals to kids and adults alike--who doesn't miss the nostalgia of cereal and cartoons on a Saturday morning? And it's so reminiscent of me: a fun vibe, a personable approach, and several layers!
