One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. If you’re afraid do it anyway. Growth must be chosen again and again and you must choose courage when fear is present over again. You should never be afraid for the process of growth. Be very afraid of Standing still.

Too many people want to skip the hard part. You don’t realize because you lack the perspective, that the hard part is where everything valuable comes from. All the real s**t that matters comes from these times

The fella next me to go’s by the name of Darryl Ladue. I was fortunate enough to meet this man and do an all day project for him when it comes to tree service and Stump Grinding. This guy has an incredible story. He’s was drafted out of high school in the army and was in the 101st airborne division and was immediately deployed to Vietnam . His unit was apart of the QRF ( quick reaction force) that provided support for green beret units that were overwhelmed by the NVA. He was shot 4 times on 4 different occasions. This man is a savage but behind this savage there is a man that is honorable and a man of integrity. A man who has been married for over 50 years and built an amazing life for himself, his children. After enjoying a nice pleasant coffee with him after the job I asked him if he could impart one piece of advice into my life what would it be? He replied be a good person and work hard as hell and everything will lineup for you perfectly.
