The constant companion to wanting something new is comparison. It is true with marriages or relationships, with homes, with our careers, with our families and it is especially true in our finances. If we want to be truly happy, we need to stop comparing. And if we want to live according to a budget we need to stop thinking about spending and replace it with saving. We need to see the benefits of less stress and more margin.

Here is a test to know if you are devoted to God or stuff. Are you generous to God financially? Do you put him first with your finances? Are you generous with other people?
