A new report shows that buying PlayStation games on disc is usually much cheaper than buying them digitally from the PlayStation Store.

The comparison looked at several PlayStation games and found that physical copies are often the cheaper option, especially after a game has been on the market for a while. In some cases, disc versions were up to 90% cheaper than their digital counterparts.

This is why they are pushing for an all-digital future: it allows them to maximize profits while maintaining greater control over game pricing.

It really cannot be overstated how much these affecf the new content in a huge negative way. This company cannot continue using this kind of cutscenes moving forward

Dear Ubisoft,

Black Flag Resynced looks fantastic, but it's time to move beyond these repetitive dialogue animations. You have the talent, technology, and resources to deliver much more.

This animation style may have been acceptable when it first appeared in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but after nearly a decade, seeing the same handful of recycled gestures in every conversation makes characters feel lifeless.

Imagine how much stronger the new story content in Black Flag Resynced would be if it featured proper motion-captured performances instead of the same looping animations. Emotional moments lose their impact when every interaction looks identical.

Compare this to the main story cutscenes in Assassin's Creed games before 2018. Those characters felt believable because their performances were acted by real people, giving each scene personality and emotion.

We hope future Assassin's Creed games raise the bar again and deliver the cinematic quality a AAA franchise deserves.
