Resident Evil Requiem Producer Masato Kumazawa says they consider Zeno as one of the important characters in the game!

"We are happy to receive so much positive feedback from our players. We also consider Zeno to be one of the important characters."

He says Gideon is a character that symbolizes the "past" of bioterrorism, as a former Umbrella researcher, while in contrast, Zeno is a character that symbolizes the "future" of bioterrorism, as a member of Connections.

note: There are some slight mistranslations going around saying "one of the most important characters" but he just said "important" not "most important" characters.

🎮 PlayStation is reportedly launching its own gaming monitor.

Gothic 1 Remake has recently come onto my radar and has shot up to one of my most anticipated RPGs for the year, it comes out in just a few days on June 5th

Here are the main highlights:

- A 2026 remake of the hardcore 50+ hours long third-person RPG from 2001

- Thrown into prison early on, you have nothing and most NPCs don't even want to speak to you as you start off as a nobody.

- As you complete quests and tasks, you slowly start to build a reputation while acquiring new gear to be able to take on tougher enemies. Gothic 1 is known for being a very difficult game, it will take a long time before you can truly take on a lot of enemies.

- Even how you swing your sword starts off as in-experienced and slow, with your character becoming more confident with it as you level up and get stronger

- There are almost no markers on the map, you don't even have a map early on. You have to find and discover every single thing on your own

- Choices actually do matter and you can affect the world around you, especially which NPCs and factions you can associate with

- NPCs have detailed schedules, they sleep, eat and go to work

- There's already a demo on Xbox/PC/PS5 where you can play a prequel mission and get a feel for the gameplay

- There are no classes, instead, you can go either Ranged/Warrior/Rogue by putting your skills into that, and also alligning yourself with the factions that represent each playstyle

- You can commit crimes and steal, there is also blacksmithing, lockpicking among other minigames that you expect from an immersive RPG

- From recent previews, it seems to be well optimized so far on PC and without major bugs which was my major concern upon looking into this game.

I only became aware of this game's existence very recently and I found it odd that I've heard so little chatter about it, it seems like a seriously great remake of an amazing RPG that most people like me have never played.

It comes out in just 5 days so I will absolutely be checking this one out, hopefully it ends up being a great game!
