Want to build real-world experience this summer?
The Project-Based Learning Cohort is designed to help UW Seattle undergraduates get started with experiential learning through short-term, meaningful work with on-campus departments (plus career support along the way!).
What you'll do & gain:
- Work on a 4-week, project-based assignment with a UW Seattle department
- Develop career readiness skills through professional development opportunities
- Reflect and plan your next steps, whether that's an internship, undergraduate research, job, or something else
- Receive a $400 stipend at the end of the program
Who should apply:
- Currently enrolled UW Seattle degree-seeking undergraduates
- Priority will be given to first- and second-year students)
- We especially encourage students who have not yet had an experiential learning opportunity to apply!
Important Dates:
- Applications Open: May 26 - June 15
- Program Dates: July 20 - August 21
This program is a great way to explore your interests, build career confidence and participate in a supportive first step into hands-on experience!
We’re grateful to Kevin Hernandez-Ramos, a alum, for sharing his journey with us and reflecting on how MESA helped him prepare for UW and explore exciting research opportunities!
