Albinism Up Close

So much has happened since my last day in Washington, but I'm so thankful I have those memories.

I've been quiet because some big scary changes happened the day I got back. I'll share them below for those who want to read them.

Hold on to the good things, they'll get you through the dark times.

CW: Relationship Abuse
Story: I got home from a trip that I took for self-reflection, Independence, friends, and my own joy to find that my partner of 10 years didn't like that and changed the locks on the house I thought was "ours." So, I'm with my parents for now. It has been a very hard couple of weeks, but I am ever thankful for friends and my family who are helping me get through it.

My love for sushi knows no bounds.

Got sushi last night and brought it back to eat while hanging out with myself. What a real treat!

What a journey! Made it through the airports by myself successfully (even through a gate change at one point). I rode a terrifying and hot train in Dallas. And I got to see some gorgeous views from my plane window landing in Seattle.

Cheers to the bad days that motivate you. I'm not 100% there, but I'm getting there.

This week or so before my first big trip in a while is going to be hard, but I'm looking forward to the journey I'm about to go on. It's going to be scary and incredible and wonderful and eye-opening.
