Heal. Your mom may never apologize to you, because she has conditioned herself to believe that she did right by you. She hasn't healed.

Heal. Your father may never apologize to you, because he can only see what he's done right. He hasn't healed.

Heal. Your family members may never apologize to you, because toxicity is what they were raised on. They haven't healed.

Heal. That "friend" may never apologize to you, because he/she isn't sorry. He/she hasn't healed.
If/when they reach their healing, they may seek your forgiveness.
Be so healed that it won't even matter.

Heal. For you. You owe it to yourself.

While Jesus doesn't explicitly state "forgive your parents" in the Bible, his teachings on forgiveness are universal, meaning they apply to everyone, including parents; he emphasizes that if we want to be forgiven by God, we must also forgive others, including those who have wronged us, which would include parents. A key verse illustrating this is Matthew 6:14-15: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.".

Forgiving your parents can be an important part of personal growth and healthy relationships. It can help you break the cycle of blame, accept yourself, and move on from the past:

Self-acceptance
Forgiveness can help you accept yourself and feel compassion for yourself. It can also help you move past anger, bitterness, and regret.
Healthy relationships
Forgiving your parents can help you learn how to interact with others, and you might see parts of your parents in your friends, family, and coworkers.

Let go of the past
Forgiveness can help you move on from the past and focus on the present. It can also help you break generational patterns.

Inner peace
Forgiveness can help you find inner peace and contentment.

Forgiving your parents doesn't mean you have to forget what they did, or that you can't still love them. You can still believe that what they did was wrong, but you can also appreciate them for who they are.

Forgiving your parents can be complicated, but it's possible. The time it takes to forgive depends on you and your willingness to explore other ways to resolve the issue. You can try these steps to help you forgive: Identify what needs healing and who you want to forgive, Acknowledge your emotions, Recognize how your emotions affect your behavior, Work to release your emotions, and Choose to forgive.

Heaven and earth overlap

Heaven and earth as different dimensions that can overlap in the same space. Christians are called to live in the tension between these two dimensions.

God's will on earth

Jesus taught that God's will can be done on earth through prayer. When people pray for God's kingdom to come and his will to be done on earth, it must first happen in their own lives.

Being an ambassador for Christ

Followers of Jesus are called to be "ambassadors for Christ" and represent his new creation in the old-creation world.

Though Jesus acknowledged that an after-death heaven existed, Jesus devoted his preaching, not to that heaven, but to a Kingdom of Heaven that he said was here and now, near, “at hand” (Mark 1:15). The principal message that Jesus brought to us was the Gospel or “Good News” of the Kingdom of Heaven.
