Applications for the Youth Sparks Grant Project close this Friday, November 7.

Thanks to the advocacy of our young leaders and the support of the King County Council, Skyway Coalition will help guide funds to establish the Youth Sparks Grant Project.
The Youth Sparks Grant Project is youth-centered and youth-inspired. Over 100 young people shared testimony to King County Councilmembers on the importance of youth programming in Skyway. Their equity-centered vision informed all aspects of this innovative grant opportunity.
The goal of the Youth Sparks Grant Project is to strengthen local youth programming efforts. Seven awards are available for projects that have happened, or will happen, between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2026.

What an unforgettable, historic day at the Skyway Nia Festival. We are so grateful to our Skyway family and the larger community for showing up, celebrating with us, and making this day one for the books.

A huge thank you to every performer, vendor, volunteer, and to everyone who attended, shared our flyer, or simply told a friend about the event—you are the heartbeat of this festival.

We’re taking a little time to rest and recharge, but soon we’ll be back at the drawing board, crafting the next great event for our community.
