The Bad Bunny Superbowl performance you didn’t see and my first time performing on stage since having a baby! This time last year, I was depressed, sleep deprived, broke and anxious as hell trying to keep a little human alive. It was really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel and to think of myself as anything more than someone’s mother. With time, patience, counseling, community support and meds, I made it through. I remembered who I was outside motherhood and reconnected with my love for dance. Despite all the heinous s**t going on in the world, I feel lucky and thankful.
