Holiday weekend in Northern Idaho with friends and family. Hiking the Selkirk mountains and driftboat fishing the Kootenai River was fantastic.

Sharing a dramatic transformation. Clients purchased a new home which had a poorly designed DIY bathroom that probably looked great in real estate photos but needed serious rethinking. Challenge was to create a safe first floor bathroom that also functioned as a powder room and ….a broom closet. Creating a no threshold shower with grab bars in lieu of the a charming but dangerous cast iron top was top priority. I called in my trusted vendors to made it happen. We were proud to win two REX Remodeling Excellence awards from Master Builders Association this spring.

A restorative night’s sleep with adequate light control and fresh new bedding linens. Clients desired a refresh to their bedroom and creating a romantic shade and drapery combo was critical. The budget was allocated. Lovely fresh new custom bedding and a warm rug added to a coziness that made this bedroom a welcome respite from the world. Custom pillows and bedding were created to their color and pattern vision. A vintage tray was found in Mt Vernon, a great grandmother’s tea cup was brought out. My favorite cut velvet from GP&Baker became the focal point. *
