Full-Time Assistant Daycare Teacher for In-Home Daycare

Job Start Date: July 24th, 2023

Pay: $22-25 per hour. Paid Vacation and Holidays.

No evenings or weekends.

Looking for a full-time assistant, Monday through Friday 8-5, for my In-home daycare.

Qualifications

· At least 1 year of professional childcare experience.

· Must love working with kids. Must be patient and kind.

· Must engage in daily activities and conversations in a positive manner with both children and their parents.

· Must be reliable, self-motivated, take initiative and multitask. Must have reliable transportation.

· At least 18 years of age.

· High School diploma

· First Aid/CPR for infants/children/adults

· 30 hours of STARS training completed.

· TB test completed prior to start date.

· DCYF approved background check completed.

· Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment.

· MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID.

Job Duties

Job duties include caring for children, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, feeding, diapering, food preparation, cleaning and sanitizing, supervising indoor and outdoor play, and being a good role model and positive influence for all the children. Communicating with children and their caregivers in a kind and gentle manner.

Summary

I am hiring an Assistant Daycare Teacher for my in-home daycare. Wage will depend on experience. I am willing to train the right person. THIS IS NOT BABYSITTING! We provide a learning environment to help children grow and develop at every stage. Experience in a home daycare or center is a plus. Candidates with nanny experience are also encouraged to apply.
