Blue is out and about again today! Come grab a coffee at Cafe Javasti on 35th (their cardamon rose latte is incredible) and a book-- we're here until 1pm!

We put our heart and soul into building + launching a successful and well-loved independent mobile bookstore in the Pacific Northwest, and we've run it successfully for 3+ years. Blue Kettle Books is still going strong (very strong!) and ready to be taken further with the right new owner(s). Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we currently aren't able to put as much into our gorgeous mobile bookstore business as we'd like, so we are hoping to find the right person to pick up the dream and make it your own.

Never run a bookstore before? If we can do it, you can :) and it's one of the most rewarding and beautiful jobs in the world (no joke). Our bookmobile could easily be transitioned into a mobile library, non-profit venture or other iteration.

Includes:

---Professionally renovated, fully built-out and meticulously maintained bookmobile vehicle (23-foot-long automatic-shift 2014 Ford Star Trans shuttle bus in excellent condition), expert-designed by NMK (Northwest Mobile Fabricators). This vehicle is "our baby" and nothing was spared in designing it well: contains interior lighting, heat, ceiling fan, outlet, high-power RV-style battery, and heavy-duty power cord. Runs on regular gasoline and does not require a commercial license to drive. Easy to drive and awesome vibe.

---Complete remaining inventory of curated, new books for all ages + some overstock inventory books-- as well as art prints and notecards. Accompanying display equipment, extra canopies, and other supplies.

----Use of the current brand name/logo if you choose to keep it (Blue Kettle Books), and accompanying marketing/email contacts, web domain name, etc.

---Onboarding/training on how to run a bookstore, if you're starting from ground zero like we did :).
