Opening a savings account with a separate bank and depositing just a little bit at a time, can help your money grow. Aim for a lower amount (Dave Ramsey suggests $1,000) and keep going from there.

Regardless of your personal feelings about your finances, a budget can be a helpful measuring tool for you. If you don't know where to start, think of the ABCS:

A- Add Up Expenses (Where is your money going?)
B- Be in the Black (Can you remove any expenses that are weighing you down?)
C- Create a Budget (It may look different in a few months- that's ok!)
