To my fellow drumming enthusiasts in the Pacific North West community, particularly those interested in djembe drumming and the djembe orchestra. I am pleased to announce that I will be instructing at this year’s SAAMATO DANCE & DRUM CONFERENCE in West Seattle, Washington. My workshop will focus on establishing strong fundamentals, mastering djembe sound, and refining technique. Participants of all levels are welcome to attend. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you. Bless up.

Parabéns Raposa! We celebrated Raposa’s birthday in class with a birthday Roda. Raposa has been training with Contramestra Água-viva for over four years now. We are so lucky to have her in our community! She is always there to help out, support and give her best even as a momma of a young girl. Thank you for being so amazing Raposa!
