Was commissioned to make themed macarons for a little girl’s birthday celebration. She asked her momma for “Taylor Swift Mermaid” theme. The entire time I have “trouble..trouble.. trouble” playing in my head.

Was given the challenge to create legend of Zelda and video game themed birthday macarons for a beautiful 9 yo boy. Thank goodness for my own little guys to give me pointers. Momma played Zelda on a Gameboy in the 90s. Really wish Tetris would make a comeback. Have been having a low grade hand tremor lately, hope it’s a temporary thing. All the powder/gels and shimmery powders from Cakeman Dave My favorite thing is putting on blush on the little macaron faces.

We will be at the North Central Whidbey Farmers Market today from 10-2pm in Coupeville, Alexander St!

2 hours to my first farmers market of the season. Kids begged me to do it, never thought I’d bake like this again. So happy I did. I guess you don’t have to be happy to bake, baking makes you happy.

Made some needled-felted macaron earrings to sell too.
