✨More about ✨

Yaeji is a NYC-via-Seoul artist, producer, vocalist, and DJ whose emotionally precise, cross-genre sound has earned her global acclaim. She broke out in 2017 with viral tracks “Raingurl” and “Drink I’m Sippin On,” and has since released the critically lauded WHAT WE DREW mixtape and her 2023 debut album With A Hammer, named one of the year’s best by Pitchfork, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, and more. Known for her bilingual lyrics and boundaryless sound, Yaeji has collaborated with Charli XCX, Sampha, Robyn, Nourished By Time, and OHHYUK, and has remixed Dua Lipa. She has performed at MoMA PS1, The Shed, and major international festivals, while launching her lifestyle platform JI-MART.

In 2025, Yaeji continued to expand her reach across club and pop, releasing the standalone single “Pondeggi,” appearing on BAMBII’s Infinity Club II and Girl Talk & T-Pain’s “Believe in Ya,” and remixing ATEEZ’s “In Your Fantasy.” Following a global run of festivals and a headline tour, she returned with “booboo2,” a high-energy rework of her 2024 track featuring underscores and Aliyah’s Interlude.

In October she collaborated with Balming Tiger on the double single “wo ai ni / break it even,” a cross-continental release shaped by over a year of creative exchange between Seoul and New York. As the With A Hammer era gives way to a new phase, Yaeji continues to move fluidly between underground club culture, contemporary art, and global pop — with her next chapter already taking shape.
