This little car does a lot of work. We’ve picked a couple trees around town with 300+ lb of apples. The Neon happily carries that in its little trunk. Ladder and pole picker spanning the front and back seats. And a 4 year old “helper” on the other side in a car seat. Amazing what a workhorse this little car has been. The only car Jessica has ever had. I often think of the phrase “make due with what you got”. We’re living it with every trunk load of fruit.

Happy to start bottling!Fall disappeared so fast with a huge harvest season done between the day job and kids. I barely finished pressing before a rush project at that day job ate up all my time. These first 2023 bottles are a physical sign things are finally slowing down a little. Happy solstice!
