Bluefire Interactive is a virtual company (work from home). Candidates local to the Northwest are preferred. We pride ourselves in building web sites and mobile apps that meet and exceed our clients' needs.

This is a contract to hire position. We are currently growing and are looking for someone who enjoys working from home, is a great people person, and can solve problems in both traditional and new ways. This person will work directly with clients. Excellent communication skills are a must.

The following are required technical skills:

PHP
Developing plugins and/or themes for WordPress
Developing in Shopify
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
jQuery
MySQL
Apache
REST and SOAP API
Git, Subversion, or other versioning software
Adobe Creative Suite, esp. Photoshop, XD, and Illustrator
Communicate well internally and with clients
Manage client expectations from project conception to completion
Be independent, self-motivated, positive, and coachable

The following are considered nice to have skills:

Cross-platform app development using a framework such as Ionic, Xamarin,
Flutter, or React Native
React, VUE, and/or Angular
SASS or LESS
WordPress Gutenberg using blocksNET MVC/Core
MS SQL
Other E-commerce platforms, like WooCommerce, Magento, etc.
Other CMSs/Frameworks like Hubspot, Drupal or Laravel
Sharepoint
Google Analytics
Client Management and Sales
Design
CRMs such as Zoho, Salesforce, SharpSpring, Marketo, etc.

We are currently in search of an experienced Mobile App Developer with some experience building web sites. This person must have strong communication skills, a drive to take on work and learn new skills without hand-holding, ability to problem solve quickly, and be able to manage distractions that happen when working from home. This person will work directly with our clients and must be able to handle several projects at any given time. .

This position is Contract-to-Hire. Individual applicants only, please do not respond if you're a representative of a staffing agency.
