King tides will occur in Seaside, Oregon from January 11–13, 2025. King tides are a series of the highest tides of the year, and are a natural reminder of the ocean's power. While they can be beautiful, they can also be dangerous, so it's important to take precautions:

Watch from a distance
King tides can produce sneaker waves and send debris and logs flying at high speeds.
Don't turn your back on the ocean
Always face the ocean when king tides are present.
