Shayna Olson called 911 at 9:06 a.m. on Saturday to report an active shooter situation at the Columbia Memorial Hospital and Oregon Health & Science University Knight Cancer Collaborative. There was no shooter, though. Olson, whose role in the scenario was to act as a victim, initiated a planned drill for local emergency services, including the Astoria Police Department, Astoria Fire Department, Medix Ambulance Service, Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office and the Lewis & Clark Volunteer Fire Department.
