So I’m finally able to make this post. I have spent the last 36 years in this industry and 31 of that as a parter to Main Street Cafe. So I have seen generations come through the cafe and been a part of there lives as they have mine since I was 15 years old. Im so very grateful for my mother. She had a love for this business and still does. She showed my sister and I how to work hard be and be successful. She was a very business savvy women. you didn’t mess with mom ! I will miss all the relationships we have developed over the years with our customers actually it really felt like a big family!! I was so grateful today for my sister. She was with me in the beginning and she was with me in the end 😥Not to many family’s could do what we did. Work together everyday and then spend most days together after work was over but my family did and still does to this day. I am also very grateful to have worked with my daughter for the last 11 years. She is a very hard working young women. She has been there for me through all these hard years of trying to get through the Covid days. The pandemic took a toll on the cafe and me. Im a very blessed women to have the family I have. My dad came in and would help me out every Thursday and Friday when he could have been fishing. By the way that’s his favorite past time but he put that aside for me. I’m also grateful my son he has worked at the cafe off and on for years when I needed help. I have the most supportive husband any women could ask for he’s been my rock and listening to all my complaints over the last few years being scared of what was going to happen due to the pandemic. I just really want to say thank you to all my loyal customers who supported us through the pandemic and that I’m sorry I couldn’t
hold on any longer. I have gone through all host of emotions today. I’m very sad but I guess all good things have to have an ending. So farewell from Main Street Cafe.
