MANDELA DAY IN ACTION | A VAALBANK FAMILY RECEIVES A NEW LEASE ON MOBILITY.

One act of kindness can restore dignity, independence, and hope.
As South Africans marked Mandela Day, a family in Ward 16, Vaalbank, received practical support through the donation of a wheelchair to the Matshega family.

The handover was led by ActionSA Nkangala Regional Chairperson and Dr JS Moroka Mayoral Candidate, Motswaledi Rankapole, together with Nkangala District Mayoral Candidate, Mary Phadi, accompanied by party members and local leaders.

According to ActionSA, the donation was intended to improve the beneficiary's quality of life while demonstrating the spirit of service that Mandela Day represents.
Speaking during the handover, Regional Chairperson Motswaledi Rankapole said:
"Mandela Day reminds us that each of us has the power to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Through acts of service such as today's wheelchair handover, ActionSA continues to demonstrate that people come first."
