AARP, the League of Women Voters and Northwest Public Broadcasting have launched a Candidate Interview Series for Washington's 4th Congressional District. With the retirement of Rep. Dan Newhouse, voters in will select a new representative for the first time in more than a decade. To help residents learn where candidates stand on key issues, the organizations produced a series of short video interviews covering topics such as family caregiving, Social Security, voter access, tribal relations and the cost of living. Each participating candidate was asked the same questions to ensure a fair, transparent, and nonpartisan process.
