My all time favorite song I've ever written is out today!!! With a music video shot by one of my best friends and cover art by .designz 🥰

I wrote this in high school before I had ever even been on a road trip, before I knew just how many hundreds of thousands of hours and miles in a car I'd clock in throughout my life just for the sake of running away from my heartbreak and the betrayal from those close to me.

I'm so happy to finally be able to give this song the treatment it deserves after writing it nearly 12 years ago. It's been a long hard road to put music out into the world and I've worked with many many people over the years, with only a few of those people being able to be trustworthy enough for us to see a project to completion.

I think 18 year old me who wrote this song would be proud to see all the adventures and tribulations I've seen myself through and it only felt right to honor little me by including her soulmate in car form and her cowboy boots and very first guitar in the video too. To say it's been a long road would be an understatement but it's my honor and life's purpose to continue walking/driving/hitchhiking it so to all that read this caption this far thank you for not letting my music remain unheard and for blessing me with your presence in my life 💖
