Last week, our team and board members visited Peer Help United Network (PHUN) in Luzerne County. PHUN is a peer-run organization that leverages the power of shared life experiences to foster a supportive network and provide non-clinical support for individuals and caregivers of children navigating emotional and mental health challenges. It is the first family- and peer-run organization in Pennsylvania, and its bright, welcoming office space in Kingston mirrors the safe, collaborative nature of its daily work.

Navigating NEPA's system of care and providers can be challenging, but PHUN's team has jumped right in to make the journey a bit less daunting for individuals and families in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties. We are very proud to support this unique, collaborative work and are eager to watch PHUN grow its services and team across our service area.
