My second track is out today! It's dark, foreboding with a hint of optimism.

It makes me picture Sara in the 1995 movie "A Little Princess" stuck in the attic feeling a mixture of fear, doubt, sadness, mystery, fantasy, and a little hope.

My first track, Taking Flight, is out now! Solemn Slade is born. 🥂🙌🏻

Taking Flight is a soaring instrumental track that follows the journey of waking up and learning to fly. It opens with light ambience and a piano that gradually fades in to reveal an innocent spirit of exploration and growth. The track captures that initial spark of curiosity and wonder and proceeds along to capture the timidness of trying new things and sometimes learning the hard way. The song climaxes in a spirit of victory as our subject has learned to fly and does so into the wide expanse of endless possibilities.
