ESU 13 Meridian Program

On this last day of the 2024-2025 school year, we would like to thank all the families for sharing your child with us!

A big thank you to Soar Pediatric Therapy, LLC, Educational Service Unit 13 speech therapists and teacher of the vision, all the different agencies, Independence Rising, OHD, ILC, Nebraska VR - Vocational Rehabilitation, Molina Insurance, DD Service Coordination for making our filed day a success!!

Today our amazing Meridian students took a big step toward independence and confidence; they went to Runza and placed their own orders using their AAC devices! 💬🍔🥤

Both students did a phenomenal job communicating their choices, and the joy on their faces said it all. 😊 Their hard work, courage, and bright spirits shined through. We are so proud of how they used their voices to be heard and understood.

Way to go, AAC Rock Stars! 💪👏

👏 Shoutout to our amazing Meridian students who represented our school at the Educational Service Unit 13 Job Expo! They engaged with professionals, learned essential job skills, and connected with local trades and training programs.

Events like this help build confidence, purpose, and career awareness for our students with IEPs. Thank you, ESU 13, for leading the way!

We hope all families are enjoying the long holiday weekend, we summed up the week with an egg hunt, cupcake decorating, fishing for ducks, roping, and enjoying some spring babies!
