We are thrilled and beyond proud of our alumni Hannah Vath (AFA Musical Theatre) and her scene partner, John Plasencio (AFA Theatre). Hannah won the American College Theatre Festival Region 5 Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition and went to the finals. John won the best scene partner for our region. The national finals were on April 24, broadcast via YouTube. Hannah won two national awards:
Classical Acting Award
Mark Twain Comedy Award
Both Hannah and John are Seniors in Theatre at UCM. We can't wait to see what they do next.
