With the temps dropping as fast as they did headed the decision to move the upper barn horses down to the indoor.
The upper barns main water froze and with no other safe alternatives to get them water, we brought them down.
This insures they are all watered, warm and still spoiled.
Stay warm out there!

It is with the deepest sorrow we must announce that Hillcroft will be closed tomorrow. Wednesday 10/29. Our sweet Josie, who has been with us almost since the beginning will be laid to rest. She has been a huge part of the farm and Priscilla has been her person for most of it. Priscilla made Josie shine, taking her out on the trails and riding her around the farm. Josie wouldn't be the pony she is wothout Priscillas hard work and love.
This was not an easy decision to make, but as most know she has been fighting an infection of some kind in her tongue. And even with all the vet intervention possible it is in her best interest to ease her pain.
Please allow all of the horses and humans time to mourn this loss.
