A massive power outage in San Francisco left a fleet a self-driving cars stuck at intersections.

Why?

Because the ‘Waymo’ vehicles came to traffic lights there were OUT & dark.

When the cars couldn’t read the lights- Green or Red- they just shut down, stranding their passengers.

I know cars with no drivers is the future, but… this is further proof that computers and AI can’t do everything 📱 💻 🚙
