In the Community with Sheriff Pixley

I’m incredibly humbled and grateful to share that no candidates filed to run against me this election year. I’m excited to continue serving as your Columbia County Sheriff through the end of 2030.

This election may not have brought a challenger, but I don’t see that as something to take for granted—I see it as a profound expression of trust from this community that I care wholeheartedly about. That trust means more to me than any title ever could, and it strengthens my commitment to serve with integrity every single day.

Serving Columbia County is deeply personal. Our work is about keeping families safe, conserving the peace, and standing guard against those who would threaten the safety and wellbeing of our neighbors. Together, we’ve built partnerships, tackled tough challenges, and focused on real solutions that protect our community.

I’m especially proud of the ways our office has worked hand-in-hand with the community—through patrol, outreach, and volunteer programs that bring citizens and deputies together to improve the quality of life in every corner of our county. Public safety is never just the job of one office; it is a shared responsibility, and the people of Columbia County have shown time and again that they are willing to step up, get involved, and look out for one another.

Leading this office for another four years is an honor I carry with a full and grateful heart. I promise to keep listening, to keep showing up, and to keep working in partnership with you to conserve the peace and make Columbia County an even safer place to live, work, and raise a family. Thank you for your trust, your support, and the privilege of continuing to serve as your Sheriff.
