Last weekend, 100 women Attorneys, both members of ABOTA and those close to qualifying for ABOTA, met in Savannah, GA for the 2nd Annual ABOTA Women's Summit. Here are some highlights from a weekend of education, support and bonding between these women. OC Chapter Treasurer, Kim Valentine was in attendance, along with 2024 OC President Pamela Traut and member Lisa McMains. Go WABOTA!!!

OC ABOTA’s 2025 Trial Lawyer of the Year is Jeff Braun of McNeil, Tropp & Braun. Since founding the highly regarded defense firm in 2000, Jeff has been a fixture throughout Southern California trial courts representing his clients. Thus far in 2025 Jeff has tried three cases to verdict (and he has two more months to go), with one verdict 93% below the plaintiff’s ask at trial and another 95% below the plaintiff’s ask.
