Our journey began with our son's accident in 2018. He was awake & aware for a week until the medical negligence & eventually injustice. Tragically he passed, after a 16 month coma, in 2020. Little did we know, then, about Traumatic Brain Injuries to save his life. At least not in time. What we learned afterwards that could possibly have saved him, basically, required money. A LOT of money. Closing my hair salon and learning a new business was the only way we knew to help those in our position and allow an income at the same time. TBI is an ongoing, lifelong, fight.
