Stitching in the sunset 🌅 We tried "backwards beach day" Friday and it went so smoothly that we did it again on Sunday! 😂 (Swipe to see what most of our beach days look like.)

>> Backwards beach day is when you go to the beach AFTER nap/relax time so the littles are rested.

>> What we like about it:
• no meltdowns
• no sunburns
• no rush getting there
• no wasted second half of the day - When we go in the morning, we get absolutely NOTHING else done that day. When we went in the afternoon Friday, Kyle got something done on the house while I homeschooled. So productive! Plus, when we got home, it was dinner > shower > bed. (I recommend having dinner in the Crock-Pot ready or eating out.)

I haven't crocheted much this year because, well, to be honest, I just haven't wanted to. But I got the itch today!

It feels good to *want* to again 🥰

P.S. I'm trying my first Boba tea... coffee?! (Swipe to witness the adorableness.) I'm not entirely sure what's in it but I do know it's probably the most unique drink I've ever had. I'm not sure how to feel about the texture of the little balls 😂
