Huge congratulations to our VP of Business Development, Van, on being inducted as the new 2026-2027 Lions Club of Savannah President! 🥂✨

SPEROS has a long, proud tradition of supporting the Lions Club of Savannah. With Susan and Heather serving as past presidents, we are thrilled to watch Van take the helm of this incredible chapter as it celebrates 104 years of service. The Lions motto, "We Serve," is something Van has already championed every day throughout his 15 years at SPEROS.

During the induction ceremony, Van shared his guiding theme for the upcoming year: Reengage, Rejuvenate, and Renew. Reengage with members, the community, and the mission of service. Rejuvenate energy and enthusiasm to bring fresh ideas to the work. Renew a commitment to compassion, leadership, fellowship, and service above self.

"The Lions motto, 'We Serve,' has never been more important," Van shared. "I believe this year presents an opportunity not only to continue our proud traditions, but to build upon them."

We are so proud of you, Van, and can't wait to see the club thrive under your leadership!

For National Praline Day, Heather stepped up as one of the celebrity scoopers at the iconic River Street Sweets! There’s nothing quite like celebrating a beloved local staple while supporting an incredible Savannah business.

While she was working the counter, Heather even got the chance to connect with Miriam Langley, the new CEO of Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia! We love seeing our local leaders coming together in the community. 🤝✨

A huge shoutout to River Street Sweets for doing such a fantastic job raising money for Second Harvest during the event—it was a sweet success all around!
