Welcome to Black Pearl Cove!

Working with my rather untraditional client 😜, she had big plans for this place to become a destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Settled on a beautiful piece of property with incredible live oaks, marsh and water views from all three sides, and even a boardwalk to a private camping hammock, guest can totally immerse themselves in nature.

To bring the outside in, we covered every inch of the walls, ceilings and trim in southern pine and went super dark on all of our paint to emulate ship-like character as a tribute to the Captain Black Beard folklore that has been preserved. For durability as a rental and choosing black for cabinetry, we even used StarBoard, traditionally used for marine application as it is virtually indestructible. The place is just full of whimsy and quirks and we look forward to hearing stories of its guests!
