Out with the old (cellular shade) and in with the new. Sometimes a cheap, easy solution for an eyesore makes all the difference! No, my budget didn’t allow for real stained glass window, but I’m in love with this faux look!

Almost as soon as I painted this room, I realized that what it truly needed was color drenching. This is something I hadn’t tried before, so it took me nearly two years to work up the courage. Now that it’s done, my only regret is not doing it sooner! I love the moodier, cozy feel it now has, and I’m convinced this room is done (well….maybe after I replace the 90’s ceiling fan)

Loving how much more spacious and tranquil my living room feels now that I took the Christmas decor down. The gallery wall has seen a few changes as well. I wove in a larger variety of pieces to add interest.
