But really, we all know that “cycle syncing” has become a trendy topic among fitness/health coaches and the wellness community on the clock app. BUT, did you know that as a woman, working with your hormones throughout the month, rather than against them may really make a difference in how you feel? Every woman’s menstrual cycle is different and should be honored as a gift of knowledge to each individual!

Not only may cycle syncing help to optimize your hormones, but it may also optimize how you feel day to day and how you perform in the gym! Consider your menstrual cycle to be your fifth vital sign and use that to your advantage to show up as your best self.🫶🏻

So you might be asking, ‘What is cycle syncing?’ Well, cycle syncing is the practice of aligning your lifestyle, nutrition and physical activity to each phase of your menstrual cycle. By doing so, you work with your fluctuating hormone levels and body’s rhythms throughout your cycle which may help you feel more energized, focused, calm and experience pain/symptom-free periods!

CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY SMOOTHIE🍒🍫 perfect for Valentine’s Day next week!! I mean, just LOOK at that consistency😍

I really love smoothies post workout because they’re easy to digest, quick to throw together & this one packs 20g of protein!💪🏻 If you’re not a fan of cherries you can easily swap them out for strawberries or just double the mixed berries. Either way, this smoothie will still be full of vitamins, antioxidants & will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth! Try it out and let me know what you think!

ingredients//
2 cups milk of choice
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
8 frozen dark sweet cherries
1/2 frozen banana
1 heaping tbsp cacao powder
3 tbsp flax seed meal
1 serving protein powder of choice
method// blend until smooth in a high speed blender!
