Laker Pep Band

Since the Laker Pep Band has recently become a club sport, an introduction worth broadcasting is for the Director of Club Sports here at Lake State, Ruthann Cantile!!

Ruthann helps the Laker Pep Band put their vision in motion! She helps the band with the important task of recruiting and retaining fun, talented members!!

She is extremely excited to be working with the band this year, and she can’t wait to hear all of the catchy songs they will play that will enhance our LSSU hockey experience!! The Laker Pep Band has a new location within the student section of the Taffy Abel Arena, as well as a sharp new uniform, and she believes that this will only enhance the hockey attendance experience!

A fun fact about Ruthann is that she still plays ice hockey and as been coaching ice hockey for the last 25 years!! She also was in the Flag Corp and played clarinet!

A HUGE shoutout to Ruthann for all she has done for the band, and for how much she will continue to help us into the future!!
