Robert Titus, PhD, is a paleontologist by training, and a retired professor at Hartwick College in the Geology Department, who has done considerable professional research on the fossils of New York. Robert and his wife Johanna Titus, MS, have authored multiple books ( The Hudson Valley in the Ice Age ; The Catskills in the Ice Age ; The Catskills: A Geological Guide ; and The Hudson River Schools of Art and Their Ice Age Origins).
