Below, you will find information pertaining to 6th Grade and New Student Orientation at SMS, in addition to the pickup schedule for returning students. Please note that our office will resume normal operations on July 13th to respond to any questions. We wish you a wonderful summer!

We need a few parents to help with guiding parents through the metal detectors at RHS tomorrow night at our 8th grade graduation from 5-6:15. We also need a volunteer to help pass out cookies after the ceremony from 7:15-8. If you are available to help, please comment below or text Pia Rex. Sarasota Middle School

Are you picking up your child early on May 22nd to get ready for the dance or start your Memorial Day weekend early??
Because of the high volume of students expected to leave early -we are offering Express Pick-Up. You should still expect to wait, but your time will be greatly reduced. Express Pick-up is only from 12:50pm - 1:50pm. The link will expire on May 20th at 10pm. No further entries or changes will be accepted after this time.This link will only apply to May 22nd.

Another link for May 27th is available on our website and in the Principal's newsletter. If you need to pickup at another time - please send your child in with a note in the morning to receive a passport to meet you in the front office.

Lines will be long. PLEASE be sure to check your FOCUS account to be sure that the person you would like to pick up your child is on the FOCUS contact list. Plan ahead! -It takes 24 hours to add a contact. See our website homepage for instructions on adding contacts.
