Maple Threads - Tailoring and Dress Rental

A older project but it was so fun! This couple wanted a custom cape for their themed wedding. It was such a great project to be a part of and I really enjoyed working with them.

This was such a fun project I did last year for a customer. She was going to the Taylor Swift concert and wanted help making the jacket. She already had a black jacket that she had me recover with the green sequined fabric and then place all the patches on that. She had done so much already by finding or custom making the patches on the jacket. It turned out so fun! I’m glad I got to work on it!

This last year I’ve done a lot of wedding alterations. One of my more fun alterations was this one. This lovely bride found a great deal on a dress that work for her but the dress was lower in the back then she wanted. I put in the panel and lace up back to give her more coverage. It turned out great and, more importantly, she was very happy with it.

This has been a really fun project I have been working on. A friend of mine wanted her mother’s wedding dress turned into baby blessing dresses. We were able to get three! They truned out so cute. Swipe to see the original dress.
